As a plant fanatic and a self-taught avid crocheter, it was only right that I brought the two together. So here we are!

Welcome to The Crochet Garden Centre!

Living in the UK can make pleasing plants extremely difficult. One day you’ll be ecstatic as you spot a new leaf creeping through (as I write this I’ve just noticed a tiny green Monstera leaf popping out), and the next you’ll be convincing yourself that it’s not you and the plant is just being dramatic, as you vouch never to buy a Peace Lily again! (and breathe)

Fake flowers and plants are everywhere, but so many are plastic and ridiculously expensive. Therefore, after receiving ‘Crocheted Cactuses’ by Sarah Abbondio for Christmas, I decided to launch a crochet plant range. These plants, not only require no maintenance, but are guaranteed to last forever. I use a variety of materials such as double knit and cotton yarn, toy stuffing, craft wire and beads, and have thoroughly enjoyed combining my two passions, and experimenting on new patterns and designs.

So, that being said, I shall leave you to have a look around… maybe even peruse the shop (wink wink). You may notice all of the plants have human names, there is no real reason other than to bring a smile as you browse. All orders are custom made, so please be aware that what you see in the image may not be exactly what you get, but I’ll do my best to make sure it is close!
